Emergency resilience

Alexandra Jabr, Ph.D., EMT-P has worked in EMS since 2003 and has been educating healthcare professionals since 2008. She holds a master’s degree in mental health specializing in death, grief, and bereavement and a Ph.D. in depth psychology focused on psychedelic therapy for first responders with PTSD. Dr. Jabr is the founder of Emergency Resilience, a continuing education platform that integrates often-overlooked topics into healthcare training, including grief, trauma, ketamine therapy, and her nationally taught course Death Communication for First Responders. Her trauma-informed education helps nurses and other healthcare clinicians communicate clearly during difficult moments, support families during end-of-life situations, and build resilience while working in unpredictable environments.
