You’re not “bad at slowing down.” You’ve just gotten really good at rushing.

Wake up. Rush.
Get ready. Rush.
Go to work. Rush.
Come home… somehow still rushing.
Even when there’s nothing urgent.
Even when you’re tired.
Even when you want to slow down.
At some point, your body learned:
keep going.
Stay alert. Stay productive. Stay on.
And now?
Slowing down doesn’t feel natural…
it feels uncomfortable.
So you push through.
Handle everything.
Take care of everyone.
And from the outside, it looks like you’re doing just fine.
But your body tells a different story.
That constant “go” feeling?
It adds up.
So instead of trying to fix everything overnight,
what if you just paused… for a moment?
Not a full reset.
Not a perfect routine.
Just a small, real-life pause.
I created a simple Trauma-Informed Huddle Sheet
and a Grounding Guide for exactly that.
Something you can actually use
in the middle of your day...not after burnout hits.
If it feels helpful, you can download them.
No pressure. Just support.
And if you’re rushing right now…
this is your pause.
With care and gratitude,
